Madrid Becomes G2’s 7th ATP Client

Bend, OR—November 26, 2007G2 Strategic (“G2”) announced today an agreement with Mutua Madrileña Masters Madrid (“Masters Madrid”) to provide consulting services relating to hospitality and ticket sales in conjunction with the ATP tournament’s relocation to its new venue, “The Magic Box,” in 2009.  Masters Madrid is one of nine ATP Master’s Series tournaments in the world and, beginning in 2009, will be combined with a WTA (Women’s Tennis Association) tournament.

Masters Madrid is 7th ATP tournament that has retained G2, following Tennis Canada’s Rogers’ Cup (Toronto), the French Tennis Federation’s (“FFT”) BNP Paribas Masters (Paris), the Dubai Duty Free Open (United Arab Emirates), the Nottingham Open (England), the ARAG World Team Cup(Düsseldorf) and the Hamburg Masters. Nottingham and Dubai are part of an agreement between G2 and the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP).  In addition, G2 is working with the FFT relating to long-term ticketing strategy for Roland-Garros(the French Open) and the recent launch of a new ticket sales website (www.tennis-billet.fr).

“G2 has developed a very strong reputation within professional tennis,” said Master Madrid Tournament Director Gerard Tsobanian.  “As we begin to plan our big transition in 2009, when we will become a combined event (ATP and WTA) and move to ‘The Magic Box,’ we felt we needed the assistance of G2’s considerable expertise in the area of ticket sales, hospitality and venue operations.  We are very pleased that Marshall has agreed to work with us.”

G2 Strategic CEO Marshall Glickman said, “The Madrid Masters is a leading edge tournament.  With their new indoor/outdoor, retractable roof venue opening in 2009, they have great ambitions for the future.  G2 is thrilled to be a part of it.”
