Paris La Défense Arena

Responding to NBA Request for Proposals, G2 retained to craft response and lead pursuit of NBA, WNBA, Basketball Africa League and related events to relocate to Paris La Défense Arena from 2025.  Working with Gensler on alternative basketball configuration that will increase capacity to ~38,000 and gross potential gate receipts to ~€32M (two NBA regular season games).  Once selected, G2 will act as lead negotiator to finalize legally-binding agreement.

Euroleague Basketball

G2 has provided a range of business advise to the league and its clubs since 2002. G2 collaborated with the league to craft a proposal to launch the first team services division in Europe, whereby G2 provided counsel regarding the implementation of Euroleague BOCS (Business Operations & Club Services), addressing a broad range of topics, including sponsorship, licensing, ticketing, premium seating, social media, digital monetization, communications, organizational structure, business culture and executive recruitment. In 2022, G2 CEO Marshall Glickman was hired as the league’s CEO.

FC Barcelona

G2 Strategic, in partnership with Elevate Sports Partners, was retained by FC Barcelona to develop a comprehensive feasibility study regarding the viability of a new 15,000-seat multi-purpose arena adjacent to Camp Nou.  In addition, G2 was independently retained to develop a separate study to inform FCB regarding a range of options to develop, finance and operate the arena, including assessing the program, seating configuration, premium experiences and other commercial aspects, as well as a go-to-market and monetization strategy.  FCB has extended its collaboration with G2 as its senior advisor to explore a range of development options.

LaLiga

G2 was retained by the Spanish Professional Football League to develop ‘LaLiga Ticketing Strategy’, lead a series of workshops, and directly coach 12 clubs on the development and implementation of their business plans.

G2 Consortium France

G2 Consortium France is a group of French football, rugby & basketball clubs formed and led by G2, which provides business consulting, strategic planning, workshops and training, with the collective objective of adapting to rapidly-changing trends due to shifts in demographics, consumer behavior, technology and economics.

Liga de Football Professional

G2 retained to develop a comprehensive strategy related in new customer acquisition, customer retention and customer spend.

Riverhouse Jazz

Founder & Executive Producer of monthly jazz series in Bend, Oregon.

Capstone Partners

G2 Strategic partners with Portland’s Capstone Partners on masterplan, commercial strategy, plan of finance and public/private partnership to renovate Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum and develop over 600,000SF of new office & retail in the Rose Quarter District.

Fédération Française de Tennis

Develop and oversee comprehensive ticket sales strategy for BNP Paribas Masters. Under extension agreement, G2 will oversee development of new ticket sales website for the BNP Paribas Masters, and develop a long-term ticket sales strategy for the French Open, pertaining to a potential new stadium at Roland Garros.

Organic Sound

G2 Strategic retained by new subsidiary of Spain-based Hallotex, one of the leading apparel suppliers to Inditex (parent company of Zara). G2’s role was to lead a team to develop business, marketing and brand strategy for Organic Sound, a new line of sustainable artist-licensed clothing, made from recycled materials, for the music industry.

Association of Tennis Professionals

Develop and oversee comprehensive ticket sales strategy for 2 ATP tournaments, including Dubai Duty Free Open and the Nottingham Open, and lead a series of workshops for all ATP tournaments.

City of Gresham

G2 retained by City of Gresham, Oregon to develop destination development concepts on 11.5 acre parcel adjacent to City Hall.

Advise relating to bids to operate food & beverage services at sports venues in France.

CSKA Professional Basketball Club

Lead advisor relating to the development of the mixed-use Moscow Sports & Entertainment Complex.

Asvel Basketball Club/Groupe Gones & Sports

G2 retained by Asvel and Groupe Gones & Sports to orchestrate the development of a new, 12-14,000 multi-purpose sports & entertainment arena in Villeurbanne, France.

Christian De Portzamparc

Formed design team that was selected as one of four finalists (from 91 submissions) by the City of Paris and French Tennis Federation to develop a new tennis stadium near Roland-Garros, for the French Open and BNP Paribas Masters.

Advise regarding long-term venue requirements and Memorial Coliseum re-development opportunities.
