G2 Strategic retained as advisor to Euroleague Basketball

Euroleague Basketball (EB) and G2 Strategic LLC (G2) announced that they have enteredvinto an agreement for G2 Strategic to provide advisoryvservices pertaining to ticket sales for the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four as well as the Eurocup Final and consultation with several of its clubs. The Turkish Airlines Euroleague is the premier professional basketball competition in Europe. Its Final Four is one of the world’s most electrifying basketball events, televised live in nearly 200 countries on five continents and played each year in a pre-determined market. The 2013 Final Four will take place
at London’s The O2 Arena. The most recent Final Four was
played in May 2012 in Istanbul, Turkey.

The 24-team Turkish Airlines Euroleague includes the top
clubs from the elite professional leagues in as many as 17
countries. Of the 24 teams, 12 have permanent “A
Licenses” while other clubs qualify based on their results.
Under Euroleague Basketball’s bylaws, teams with an “A
License” must meet a variety of business standards,
including achieving paid attendance equal to 80% of arena
capacity. G2’s primary role will be to work with select
Euroleague Basketball clubs to assure these standards are
met.
