G2’s CEO, Marshall Glickman, served as a full-time consultant with Euroleague Basketball from 2002-2004, when he was based at EB’s headquarters in Barcelona, Spain.  Since forming G2 in 2004, EB has been a regular client; this extension is the fifth consulting agreement between the parties.

“We have had very positive results working with G2 Strategic,” said Euroleague CEO Jordi Bertomeu.  “In-arena attendance has always been a pillar for us, as full arenas are not only important for the image of the league, but also vital to achieving greater balance in the clubs’ budgets, making their business more sustainable.  Working with G2 Strategic is helping our teams to create a more efficient ticketing sales structure and to become more pro-active with potential buyers.  We have already seen impressive results from several teams participating in the program, including EA7 Armani Milan, a club that has worked closely with Marshall; in only one year, they have increased paid attendance by over 120%.  There are several other similar success stories.”

“Working with Euroleague Basketball has been an incredible experience,” said G2 CEO Marshall Glickman.  “Over the last 10 years, our company has worked with basketball clubs, tennis tournaments and leagues across several European countries.  We have learned that there are no cookie cutter solutions – as each market presents unique cultural and economic challenges, requiring that we adapt our strategies to the specific situation that each club must face.”
