Consulting Firm G2 Strategic Partners With La Liga To Launch Ticketing Program

Consulting firm G2 Strategic announced that it entered into an agreement with La Liga to launch the La Liga Ticketing Program. G2 is led by Owner & CEO Marshall Glickman, the former president of the NBA Portland Trail Blazers. Under the agreement, G2 will provide consultation to La Liga and its 20 La Liga and 22 second division clubs, focusing on three primary objectives: new customer acquisition, customer retention and customer spend. For the collaboration with La Liga, G2 retained Joaquín Blázquez Buisán, who worked with Glickman inside Euroleague HQ from ’02-04. Blázquez is currently head of digital marketing & events for IMAP, and will support G2 in several areas. Glickman has a relationship with Euroleague Basketball that dates back to ’02. In June, the firm formed the G2 Consortium France which includes six football clubs, two rugby clubs and two basketball clubs (G2).
