G2 STRATEGIC SIGNS AGREEMENTS WITH TWO ATP TOURNAMENTS IN GERMANY
ARAG World Team Championship in Düsseldorf and ATP Masters Series Hamburg join growing portfolio of ATP clients
Boston—July 11, 2007—G2 Strategic (“G2”) today announced agreements with two ATP tournaments -- the ARAG World Team Championship (“ARAG”), which is played in Düsseldorf, and the ATP Masters Series Hamburg, to provide consulting services relating to ticket sales. Both ATP tournaments are played in May.
Düsseldorf and Hamburg are the fifth and sixth ATP tournaments, respectively, that have retained G2, following Tennis Canada’s Rogers’ Cup (Toronto), the French Tennis Federation’s (“FFT”) BNP Paribas Masters (Paris), the Dubai Duty Free Open (United Arab Emirates) and the Nottingham Open (England), the later two in conjunction with an agreement between G2 and the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). In addition, G2 is working with the FFT relating to long-term ticketing strategy for Roland-Garros (the French Open) and the launch of a new ticket sales website.
“G2’s work with Tennis Canada and the French Tennis Federation has demonstrated their ability to help tennis tournaments sell more tickets and earn more income,” said ARAG Tournament Director Dietloff von Arnim. “For all of us in tennis, we are finding that we can apply far more sophisticated strategies relating to general ticket sales, as well as business hospitality sales. We are looking forward to working with Marshall to get it done.”
